The Georgian authorities say Antisa Khvichava, who lives in a remote mountain village, is 130 years old and born at 1880. The authorities also have petitioned the Guinness Book of Records to include her.

China is estimated to have in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau “Combustible ice” reserves equal more than 35 billion tones of oil which could supply China energy demands for 90 years. The “ice” contains low proportion of impurities which makes it generating almost no pollutants. The country now invests in researching this type of energy.

A medical miracle happened as the world’s smallest baby boy which has been born in Germany weighing only 275g survived. The baby was born last June after only 25 weeks of pregnancy and has been released by the hospital only now when doctors are confident he is strong enough to survive.

Brazil and the US Combat Deforestation
