Medal for Charity is granted to Shakira
Shakira, the Colombian pop star, received from the United Nations a medal in respect to her charity work for children. Shakira has founded the Barefoot Foundation which provides education and nutrition to 6,000 children and is a founding member of the ALAS foundation.
