Amy Jung. a 36-year-old Wisconsin resident adopted a cat earlier this month. On the first night she went under a diabetic seizure and the cat started jumping on her, biting her nose just enough to be able to shout her son for help. The cat then jumped up onto her son bed and startled him into action.

Lelia Boroughs, who died at 84, from San Francisco, was known to her neighbors as an eclectic, kind soul who would offer to pick up their groceries and feed the homeless who squatted on the ledges outside her apartment. When she died she crafted her will to leave her condo to the city to turn into a homeless shelter.
