Amy Jung. a 36-year-old Wisconsin resident adopted a cat earlier this month. On the first night she went under a diabetic seizure and the cat started jumping on her, biting her nose just enough to be able to shout her son for help. The cat then jumped up onto her son bed and startled him into action.

A southern Oregon fire department is able to not only save people lives but also can help pets.

The Ashland Fire Department is equipped with animal oxygen masks and the team are capable of performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation on dogs, cats, hamsters, ferrets, birds, gerbils and even reptiles.

Family dog saved by dolphins

The 11 years old Doberman disappeared on Sunday got stuck in a canal at Marco island and was only found after 15 hours by a neighbor living near by because of the persistence of some dolphins.

Lillian Miller, A hearing-impaired woman from Florida, thought her dog wanted to go outside when he start barking at 3AM , she took the dog out and saw flames coming out of the window of her mobile house. Since it was early morning, she had removed her hearing aids and couldn’t hear the fire alarm.

Canadian woman left her home on Friday’s ice storm and didn’t come back, after three days of searching she was found on Monday afternoon thanks to a dog’s sense of smell. The temperature was 15C below zero (5F) and the woman survived the extreme conditions although she was dressed only with light coat.
