Frank Guidara,a Vietnam veteran and the CEO of Boston-based Uno’s Restaurant Corp., helped in organizing a 10,000 pizzas delivery to the U.S. troops in Afghanistan for the super bowl game.

In the last 10 years (since the end of the Taliban regime in 2001) more than 10000 of new schools have been build and 13 more are supposed to be built in the next 6 months.

Bear the Afghan dog was born and almost immediately was trained to be at dogfights, his ears and tail been cut. A British soldier first found this dog a year ago and brought Bear to the animal shelter, the animal shelter contacted Paul Farthing who now runs a charity for abandoned animals, and he asked Mayhew International to find Bear a home.
