Amazon decided to remove whale meat products from its Japanese site. The UK-based environmental investigation agency (EIA) accused Amazon of hypocrisy after founding almost 150 whale products for sale on the site.

The organization recently coordinated the release of 180,000 thirty days old Arraus river turtles into the Amazon river with hopes to better their chances to survive.

Amazon, the online retailer has announced the holiday season of 2008 as the best year ever. On one day Aamzon got 6.3 million orders through the websites. On its busiest day Amazon provided 5.6 million items around the world, 99% of them on time.
