New dolphin species discovered

Not far form the city of Melbourne, Australia, new dolphin species has been found. The dolphins were found in Port Phillip Bay, and the Gippsland Lakes and in waters as far afield as Tasmania and South Australia and will be named Tursiops australis.

Good News for ‘Extinct’ Frog

The yellow-spotted bell frog which considered to have been extinct for 30 years has been discovered on a remote farmland in Australia. A colony of around 100 frogs of this special species was identified and this gives hope to find more animals that we thought were extinct.

5,200 Australians Posed Naked for Art

The New York-based artist Spencer Tunick took another photo for his project – nudes against urban backdrops. This time it was with 5,200 naked Australians in front of the Sydney Opera House. Tunick instructed participants to do a number of poses, from standing up, lying down, and even embracing cheek to cheek.

Family Dog Found After 9 Years

Muffy the dog from Australia, vanished 9 years ago from her house at Sidney. 9 years later, she was found 1200 miles away. Officials found her owner, using the microchip in Muffy’s neck.
