A group of researchers from Georgia university have developed a vaccine that attacks tumours in mice and could begin phase I clinical trials to test the safety of the vaccine by late 2013.

Cancer Gene Free Baby Has Been Born In the UK

A baby girl, which grew from an embryo that was screened to make sure she will not have the BRCA1 gene, which passes genetically the risk of breast cancer, was born today in the UK. Both mother and the baby girl are doing well.

A new gene (Metadherin) discovered by researchers as related to the spread of breast cancer and to the drugs and treatments resistance of cancer cells can lead to a new drug against Metadherin which can reduce breast cancer appearances.
